  • Is it worth complaining? Or would I just be wasting my time/effort? I'm not really fussed about not getting the game but they shouldn't just be abke to cancel it after they've sent a confirmation email

I don't think there is anything wrong with cancelling when the price is wrong you win some you lose some. I thought it was disgusting that they just put this item is not available from the supplier and is therefore cancelled in what was a complete and utter lie, why not just say wrong price so we are cancelling sorry.

I work for a games store, this kind of thing is common. Tesco etc will have a very very small ammount of a certain game and sell it at a loss to get people to go into their store. Then the next few hundred thousand people who go into the store to buy it (and find it sold out) will likely buy other things... then call into their gamer shop on their way home demanding we sell it to them at a loss - despite the fact tesco don't have any more stock and won't have any more, ever.

Or you go to Sainsburys etc to buy the bargain & find that they've all been bought up by Game/Gamestation managers so as they don't have to pricematch or have any cheap competition..........
This was admitted by the CEO of Game.........
