  • Yep just had my cancellation email, I was chuffed to bits when i got it this morning, don't think it's right they can cancel and give reason as unable to obtain the item, obviously they can't obtain it thats why it's a pre-order.

Yup mine cancelled too, at least we tried!! I must say though I agree I think Tesco are not very sensitive to this situation and I think they seem to have a very cold customer services department from my last few dealings with them.

Agreed. Have just been on to them, their idea of when a contract is entered into is a bit, shall we say, "fly". I thought a contract was entered into when I agree to pay the sum on the website, enter my details, and they send a confirmation e-mail agreeing to that price, and earmark the funds at my bank account. Or am I stupid in thinking this is how the law can be flouted?

Same has happened to me with Tesco. Last year they had XBOX360 consoles on for £40 each.

Their contract is entered into when the goods leave the warehouse
  • Same happened to my boyf, he was gutted when he got the cancellation!!
I think it should be same policy as instore. If they advertise at the wrong price, they should honour it!!
