Heritable Bank - information please

Heritable Bank hardly seems to be getting a mention. I have had a letter and email from ING to say they are taking it over, but when will I be able to access my accounts? Does any one have any information?

According to the ING Direct FAQs you should be able to do so now:

Can I continue to transact on my Kaupthing Edge and/or Heritable Bank account?

Yes – please continue to access your account in the same way using the same contact channels as normal (via phone or web).

SaverSue you should feel honoured that you received an actual letter from ING regarding your Heritable account. Many of us formerly with Kaupthing Edge have not received an email, let alone a letter! See Kaupthing Edge CHAPS thread ....

I and I expect lots of other KE/ING Bank sufferers who have still not received their withdrawals from KE since more than a week ago would be interested to hear if anyone with a Heritable Bank account has received a withdrawal payment into their target bank during yesterday or today, as none of us have, despite assurances from ING that they are processing the payments.

Some people have now got the money, as described in this thread. I imagine the rest will follow. I think you just need to be patient. You are very fortunate in that you are likely to get your money a lot faster than the savers with Icesave.

Hi peepl,
Email this a.m. telling me that all Heritable/ING payouts will be made by CHAPS transfer (with no charge) with full interest by October 17th. We shall see!

tried to close a fixed heritable (april 09) account, was givena written letter saying i cannot withdraw funds - letter from heritable

is this right???
