Hi Folks,

Does anyone work for the above company that could maybe answer the question below?

I'm with Ebico at the moment through Scottish Hydro, after the latest price increases it will work out cheaper for me to move over to Scottish Power Online through Quidco and get £72 for switching.

I was wondering if Scottish Hydro/Ebico had a retentions team that maybe telephoned the customer prior to switching to offer a better deal, a loyalty kind of deal like Atlantic do every 13 months?

Any advice or comments please.

That would defeat the whole point of EQUIpower and EQUIgas. How would it be an equitable tariff if other customers paid more to subsidise your charges? Scottish Hydro or SSE may call you. I'd hope Equitable Billing Company would not.

    True!

Hope they call and make me some kind of offer to stay with Scottish Hydro then.

Have found the billing to be spot on and customer service excellent for the past 2 years i've been with them.

Unfortunately like anything at the moment cost is a major factor in deciding which energy company to go with.
