Stock markets are bouncing up and down like yoyos! Over the past few weeks there has been the situation where share prices on the FTSE 100 have fallen sharply one day, shot up the next, and then fallen sharply the day after that! It's a real gamble right now.
I believe the BBC posted a jargon buster which referred to the short sharp rise of shares as a dead cat bounce

No. That isnt how it works. The markets are down because of fears of recession. The markets act in advance normally except when there are unknown events.
Typically the markets over react in good times and go up too much and over react in bad times when the markets go down.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
