start - search - (depending on what system you have maybe click search companion) click all files and folders
in the "all or part of the file name" field type in *.xlr (thsi will search ur pc for any files with the *xlr file extension)The orginal post in this thread has a very very slim chance of being about money saving. The post is more than likely to ask a question that google could answer better than any of us.0 -

oh dear was the file on your desktop?, if so system restore will wipe it but should retrieve it if you undo the system restore.
try searching your machine for the file name and don't include the file extension(.xlr?, usually excel files are .xls is this a new one?)
Hopefully you have just accidentally moved it to another folder so the shortcut can't see it, you have told the box to try and find it?, also look in recycle bin just in case.
hope you have a backup.click here to achieve nothing!0 -
