Internet Connection/Modem Issues

Right, i'll explain as best as...

ISP - AOL

OS - XP SP3

--

I usually access AOL via it's Dialer or on rare occasions, load up the main software.

Around 2 hours ago, I came across an issue. AOL would not let me in as I was 'already connected'. I didn't think I was, so loaded my browser and....nothing - i'm not connected.

The only way I can get in is to go to my network connections and connect with 'Dial BB' in the broadband section of my network connections.

Now, in the LAN or High Speed Internet section, an application is connected.

It's my Globespan USB ADSL LAN Modem and I cannot disable it.

What I want to be able to do, is connect to AOL via my Dialer and/or main software again, as per usual.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I'm hoping nobody has hacked my connection :(
