That's a beautiful dress Sammy - looks like an Alfred Angelo copy.

I know what you mean about finding it harder to find bm dresses than wedding dresses. I found mine in the first shop I went to (copy currently being made by Landy) but my bridesmaids are such different shapes and sizes and colourings that it's a nightmare!

I've decided to have mine made in the UK by a lady round the corner as I know there will be lots of tweaking going on!

He, he it is an Alfred Angelo copy :D. I love it. Landy emailed me this morning saying that they can do the removable spag straps no problem - and she said that If I love it when I go back to order the other 4 then she'll give me a nice discount :D

I spent so long emailing my bridesmaids piccies and asking their thoughts, that in the end I though sod it - this is a nice dress and I'm never going to find a dress to suit every size and every colouring!!!

Landy are great though aren't they? They are doing me a Maggie copy but I was worried about getting an underskirt to match so they are sewing one into the dress that will match perfectly. To say they are in China, their response time is excellent. And what great customer service. Can't wait for my dress to come!

    That's romantic :)

Actually me and H2B will have been together 7 years by the time we get married - not to the day though - why didn't I think of that??

Aimee, I'm a week after you. I'm counting down til I'm under 300 days lol. I keep giving H2B updates - don't think he appreciates it tho!! He actually mustered some interest yesterday. I got my big wedding book out and all he wanted to know was exactly how much I had spent lol

9 years  I thought I'd waited long enough lol.

Found out yesterday that my 5th wedding next year is on 3 August, less than 2 weeks before mine. I wouldn't mind but I'm in Kent and the wedding is in Scotland. And it's on a Monday which means I'll have to book holiday off work, a week before I have to book holiday off for my own wedding!!!

OMG...how much time will you need off? Are you having a honeymoon?

I'm lucky because I am a teacher. I break up on the 17th July and don't go back until September. I get a few weeks before the wedding and a few weeks to go on honeymoon then hopefully a week of normality before going back.

Sorry to hijack your thread completely Sammy.
