I've Just Bought a Landy BM Dress :)

Evening Ladies,

Well after much deliberation, I have finally ordered one BM dress from Landy! I have 5 BMs but have decided to use my sister as a guinea pig for a Landy dress. If I love it then I'll order the other 4 lol. It is this one:



It's actually the same colour as the photo (gold) and the sash will be in ivory. I have also asked for removeable spaghetti straps, so fingers crossed!!

I'm so pleased I finally made a decision. Choosing the BM dresses was harder than choosing my own!! I said from the start that I wanted ones with a big sash in the middle, and then I started looking at other designs - and now I've come back full circle where I've started lol.

Just been on the phone to my mum and I've been invited to my cousins wedding next year - in Gretna Green!!. I wouldn't mind but I am now going to 5 weddings next year including my own :eek: 2009 seems to be the year of the wedding!!

we've now set a date as 05/05/2013 i know its 5 years off but theres loads we need to sort first

That's a beautiful dress Sammy - looks like an Alfred Angelo copy.

I know what you mean about finding it harder to find bm dresses than wedding dresses. I found mine in the first shop I went to (copy currently being made by Landy) but my bridesmaids are such different shapes and sizes and colourings that it's a nightmare!

I've decided to have mine made in the UK by a lady round the corner as I know there will be lots of tweaking going on!
