Internet explorer keeps chucking me out

Hi Peeps again,
I have a problem with internet explorer,
I sometimes use the the BBC radio 2 website to listen to past programmes i have missed. Up to about a month ago i could go the site and play these progs no problem.
BUT, now when i go go into it, it will play the programme currently on air, but when i click on the link to listen to past progs i get the message
Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have also tried it through windows media player, and Real player and each and everytime i get a similar message on those 2 as well. And then i get chucked off. Its doing my head in.
Also sometimes i try and open an email and that also triggers the we have encountered a problem and need to close down.
Any ideas Peeps, all advice gratefully received.

Which version of internet explorer do you have?
Are you running Vista or XP?
Possibly you have something nasty on your computer though
