The pig is a clear plastic piggy bank thing. When Martin makes a miraculous saving from thin air, he hands over a wad of real cash equivalent to the saving which is then put into the pig...
I am not sure who ITV anticipates the audience for this show to be with the time slot. Coincides nicely with the school run, and obviously also most people are at work. It seems the people likely to benefit the most are the ones who won't be round.
But what I really want to know is how did they keep their house that spotless with triplets. Or is that just a special tv trick?0 -

It'd be great in the second series, if Martin were to get an evening slot. I'll have to tape all the episodes as I'm out getting the kids from school then.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -

If you have a read of Martin's blog here, you'll see that in fact its not real money but Martin's Money :xmassmile0 -
I thought it looked kinda big and too colourful to be real and Martin spoke about the amount of the notes as if it was Monopoly money.....'oh and here's a thousand' kind of thing.Herman - MP for all!0

Ive been at work all day till half five but knew hubby might be home in time so I rang him.
"Can you put the tape on for me at half two on ITV?" I asks.
"Yeah" he says "Whats on?"
"Oh just something I want to watch " I reply
He did as he was told and when I got home he mumbled " Its that bloke who's site your addicted to innit?"
Lol Enjoyed it thoroughly but like others have said........half an hour just isn't enough!! Flew by.
Has given me the inclination to do the budget planner thingy on the computer some time though.
Well done Martin and every one else involved!! :xmassign:Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600
