Outlook Express login oddity

OK - I know I can install other things which are probably smaller/faster/better/etc but I like OE.
However, when I first launch OE I get asked for my password twice.
I've got it set to check for new mail every 5 minutes and I'm on IMAP settings, but can't see any options which will cause this.
Anyone any ideas?

It appears to be just one folder that's causing the problem.
Don't want to remove the folder as it's useful, but any help would be appreciated.
