  • I had a bit of a nightmare shop today, had to go to a phone shop and ask for details of a new phone, saying my contract was nearly up. As much as I tried to tell her I just wanted information, she insisted on taking all my details and phoning o2 to check when my contract was due to expire (in about 12 months!) So I was sat there panicking away until she started talking on the phone... it turned out that she misheard the number and the one she had asked for details about had debts of over £700 with o2. After that she couldn't get rid of me quick enough. I didn't even get a chance to take her name. How do I write that one up in a report?:rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you my dear, I hope you all realise I am not getting at any of you with my moans about RE.

I had a meeting with an allocator last week from one of the better companies and apparently RE are not respected by the other companies. So it isn't just me.

It is the constant proofreading queries and endless reports that get me. I don't object so much at the measly fees it is just I feel they pay tuppence and expect £££'s of work doing the reports etc.

PS I'm not miffed off at others insulting them by the way, Hollypear (as if we could be with you) - as I say what works in my area may not work for others. I can pick and choose jobs that pay well for me with them.
Personally I have found the much praised Blue apple and their associates useless - I registered over a year ago with them and haven't been offered 1 job...[/quote]

RE make me laugh with their demands for perfect spelling and grammar - when almost every brief/questionnaire I've had from them has had a spelling mistake or grammatical error!
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

  • I have free booze today courtesy of RE so I am happy, plus the report was very easy.
  • Yes - you can usually claim for more drinks if you spend more, just claim upto your limit. hth.

Thanks for that, gutted I missed out. Ah well I'll know for next time :)
  • Anyone got any update on the lack of payment from August assignments with FF?

Website now has details of payment for September assignments and no mention of August pay, even though the last message said they would keep us updated via the website.

I am on the verge of sending a very nasty letter and may have to look into what action I can take -anyone any idea what my options might be?

Someone told me that they'd been told the pay would be in our accounts by Mon afternoon - guess what??? It's not! Have you tried emailing Sithara?

Loolabell? Can I ask you - do you work for TNS? I'm just asking after your post on the alerts thread asking for people to contact you? Unless you're just directly quoting the email and it looks like you're asking people to contact you?

I might be alone in this, but if you're registered with a company we already get emails from them, saying we have an urgent job etc., and these come quite often enough already.

I just don't think there's any point in repeating them on the alerts thread - it's bad enough getting emails about Oban and the IOM when you don't live anywhere near them, or emails for jobs for men only, when I'm a woman, but I don't want to get a msg telling me there's a new alert only to find it's a junk email that I've already had to waste time deleting

Sorry, but had to get that off my chest and I'm assuming I'm not the only one.
