I've got a lot of points too, but what matters is the average point score I believe- though this may not be what is affecting your jobs. When you look back you can see if you have lost points. Even though I have lots of points, my average score is not 12 which is what I was told was stopping me get certain jobs. As 12 is a perfect score, if you cancel a few you soon get into a situation where the law of averages means you can't make it up. At least that is what I was told a while ago.

I did one this week. It just asked for the one that seemed prominent or caught your eye, as I recall. I detailed the large poster advertising a deal on euros, and said there were smaller ones advertising specific deals.

Maybe that is why then. I think I may have cancelled a few in the last 1.5 years. But then cancelling 6 jobs in that period is not loads or is it?

Might give them a call on Monday and see why it is.

So my first mystery shop went really well. It was really odd asking for a receipt for my drink in a busy club! Guy was really rude about it. It was a really good laugh though. Got another one booked for tuesday - am gettting really excited about all of these! x

I think asking for receipts at a pub is like a big sign on my forehead saying Mystery Shopper. It seems like after I asked for one, the manager made it a point to keep clearing all the empty glasses/bottles near my table and when I went to a toilet a staff member appeared about two minutes later to check the toilets. The toilets were fine but I'm sure they must have known I was an MSer.

I can't imagine asking for a receipt at a club, for the entrance fee or the drinks.

Click on the red points number at the top of the page when you are logged in. You can then go back through the months and see when they have taken points off- they take points off for changing the date as well and for being late with reports. I hope i am wrong about the reason why as it is a bit of a pig to sort out. If you have done 60 jobs and cancelled 5 of them you would get 55 x 12 points and 5 x-2 points. Total . Points average 10.8. If you had done 10 jobs and cancelled one, points average 8. Or 5 jobs and cancelled none- average 12. But if you have done 60,it will take longer to raise your average back up as each 12 points you make will be divided by the number of jobs you have done, making it a tiny fraction , whereas the person on 10 can make a difference quite quickly.
Unless, as I say, they have changed their policy.

Obviously they value reliability very highly.

Thanks for that. I have only cancelled 6 in total and I do tend to get 12 for most of the visits. Like I said, will have to give them a call. I understand that they sometimes do rotations and take you off certain clients for 3 months, but this has been 6 months now. I would love to do some more gym and food places. Not fussed about anything else.
