Ah, I see.. thanks. Also, is it normal to feel like you're doing something wrong? I feel ridiculously guilty doing this stuff and I'm really hoping it doesn't show! Iknow it's not timewasting but I do feel like I'm lying. And there's so much to hold in your head at once!

As someone has said on here before - Just think of it as acting - you're playing a role... Don't think of it as lying, and don't feel guilty. try to enjoy it, 'cos it won't make you rich, and there's no point doing it if you're not happy...;)

I have no intention of ever doing these jobs as I think they sound a real nightmare - but I wanted to say thanks as this is a fantastic guide, and would be really helpful if I was going to do one!

Scary - they offered me a batch a few months ago, thankfully I turned them down as I didn't think I could get round the lot in 2 days.

(Note - they offered it and I declined via email. Imagine what might have happened if they'd asked me over the phone -given my recent inability to refuse a Gap drive-thru )

They're really not that bad at all.

My first one took me ages, probably over an hour, but after that I learned what to say, what not to say, etc etc, and got them down to around 30minutes per visit.

They're worth doing in my opinion, but each to their own...

haha! You should try convincing a car salesman that you're on the verge of signing to buy a car costing tens of thousands when in reality you could barely afford an old banger.

    Guilty? Moi? Never!

glad someone else said that because I had four lined up on the same day and two have been cancelled

Before anybody says anything don't feel guilty about having four, as OH just been made redundant so getting any money possible.

PM me and we'll compare whether they were the same company we were due to go to!

Yes, I've had 3 cancelled too. Mobile phone shop, electrical retailer and PC shop. Thought it was something I'd done wrong so quite comforting to know I'm not alone. Not happy though. Was a nice morning's work I'd got lined up.
