yes you can claim the full amount you spent up to £50. It doesnt have to be losses either - if you won you can still claim.

Help please? Is Josie or RuthieJane out there, or anyone else familiar with the TNS supermarket jobs?

I've got a couple this week and it's months since I did them (cos they won't let you do the same place within 3 months). Every time I do these jobs I have the same problem - the questionnaire lists every single department there is, and I can never figure out which departments I actually have to assess. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Which list is the definitive one and how do I work out which departments I need to visit?

    Thanks!

    Hye Scaredy,

The two depts you need to assess are listed on the the visits page under "Visit Info. 1 XXX COUNTER Visit Info. 5 YYY COUNTER".

Thanks Nads. Don't I have to do quite a few other depts as well though? I'm sure last time I had to do about 5 or 6 depts?

Yep for those ones you have to log into the website using the CLICK HERE link on that email that hopefully you will have received.

Yeah I found that now! Thanks! It's a nightmare. Looks like I have to visit a LOT of departments. I have this problem every time - it looks awful on paper but then when I've done it and come to fill out the report it isn't so bad. I think I probably assess more than I need to - but because I can't access the actual report until after I've done the job it's hard to work out what's needed.

Sorry Scaredy I've only just logged in, but looks like you have your answer. The shopping list is a pretty good guide too.

Yes, thanks! I'm just worried now that I'll miss out something I'm supposed to do. If I combine the list on page 1 of the Briefing Notes (under the heading 'Scenario') with the shopping list, and the 2 depts specified on the My Visits page on the TNS website... is that everything?

Only when I look at the questionnaire it lists absolutely everything and I do find it confusing. It doesn't take much to confuse me, though!

Also a bit annoying that I have to visit the cafe AFTER I've gone through the check out. The cafe is upstairs in the clothing dept so will look really weird going back up there after I've paid for my shopping!

I did my first nightclub job last night for RE and it asked me for a receipt number, but they only give you the debit card receipt.. which doesn't have a receipt number on it... is this going to cause a problem?

There is usually a receipt number on your card receipt; perhaps it is a 'transaction number'? As long as you upload the receipt I doubt you'll have a problem.

SC - I sometimes visit an upstairs-at-the-back-of-the-shop cafe after doing my (non-MS) shopping, so don't concern yourself over it. :)

Wonder how many car dealerships ukmonkey has done so far today......?:p
