Just done my first Gapbuster for burgers. Being asked for a KS# from the receipt but there isn't one. Anyone any ideas?

    Cheers

i usually just write the other number on the reciept. it';s not the order number but i think it's four digits. they will see what you have tried to do when you upload the reciept.

Mystery Shop UK you need to ask permission to post here to represent a company, otherwise its classed as advertising

No one on here who knows me will be at all surprised at this. I made another IDIOT of myself.

Went for a MS eye test and chose glasses. As always the briefing notes said don't ask lots of questions and don't draw attention to yourself. Well when the optician put those funny goggles on she asked me if I could read any of the letters on the screen. Several seconds later as I haven't answered and she wondered why I looked puzzled.... I said I could see them but why were they Chinese letters.

Trying to keep a straight face she said they were English letters but maybe were so blurred they looked Chinese to me. Then she said she had such a laugh at that as no other patient has ever done that she would always remember me.

Flip so I had to phone said MS company about another aspect of the visit. ( Quite a stern company) and told them in passing. They were in fits of giggles too.

Being simple minded I thought as there are a lot of Chinese people in Glasgow they had a separate screen for them.

Going to write a book now...."How to make an idiot of yourself in a million different ways."
:rotfl::rotfl:can you divulge which MS company u got this assignment from? (Maybe via PM?) also did it say anything about buying them?
I'm just thinking I could get paid to have my eyes tested next time :money:

This has been discussed a million times before.

Generally, my view is if you don't like it, don't read it - posts like MSUK's above is exactly the same as a "Grabbit" type post - it's something us shoppers can use to our advantage. Without these posts, the shoppers are less likely to be able to gain these extra assignments.
  • Maybe Mystery Shop UK needs to just post a general 'MCE have jobs in blah town as we all do in the Alerts thread......then it won't be seen as advertising - bit silly really as they are not selling us anything, just telling us how we can get extra money!

Well the rules are clear on this. I dont see any permission granted as normally it mentions it in there signature and or username is in bold

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=3477020&postcount=19

If they dont have permission granted it may help some on here then is just advertising isn't it the company doesn't after all do this for nothing :)

I agree - Mystery Shop UK - register with an un-obvious username and just do as PL says - we all get subscription alerts on the alerts thread so we'll see it either way! ;)

OC have just emailed about holiday parks that need auditing throughout the year - it went into my junk mail & for some reason most of the email is missing so I can hardly understand it!

It's not showing when you log in to OC so perhaps anyone who's interested could just get in touch with them. There are a few in Scotland & others by the looks of it - as I say, difficult to understand with most of my email missing!

MS UK should just create an alt. if anything in my opinion it looks very spammy and doesn't put the company in good light.

Hollypear - thanks so much for cheering me up also had a sh*** morning. Went to do a couple of josb and forget my cashcard... I aint going back today!
