Help needed!
I accepted a job that appeared on RE on Friday, for which all the visit dates had already passed. I assumed this was a visit some other shopper had released after they should have carried out the visit. I then immediately sent an email to the member of staff responsible for the shop, explaining that I'd accepted the visit, and asking if they still wanted the visit doing, and if so when they'd like it to be carried out.
This was at 3pm on Friday, and I still haven't received a response. Now, the system has sent me an automated message that I've failed to set a date within 48 hours, and has removed the job from my account, and deducted 2 points.
How should I reply to this? I've started to write a reply, but I can't work out how to convey the situation and my displeasure without sounding pretentious, snotty and petty!
Ring them. This sort of thing is much easier to explain over the phone. It's their carp computer system which causes the problem - it shouldn't let you accept jobs at the weekend where you have to speak to someone, unless there is someone to speak to!
Lovely GRG returned my phone call last Sat when I rang them with a real problem caused by not properly advertised withdrawal of tube service. (I had even checked which lines would be closed, and nothing stated clearly that there were NO tubes from my local station. I think TFL has a bl**dy cheek withdrawing all services at the weekend - but that's another story). GRG were really great and let me move my jobs around so I could do the weekend ones using a (very slow) tube line which WAS running. :TEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
I've got a query about the car dealership jobs on BARE.
Without giving too many details away, is the fee that it quotes (in Euros !!!!!!!!) per dealership or for the whole assignment of several dealerships? I'm hoping it's the former...0 -

The bare job fee is per dealer, so if you get 14, its 14 x the fee = total assignment fee0 -

I got a kitchen shop too, looking forward to it.
Gap is saying I have exceeded my daily limit of 15 assignments. Seems strange as have only added a few today, do they include ones I assigned yesterday do you think? I've been able to find a few together, so have been planning day trips out with my OH, with petrol to pay for it. But there was a mobile phone one that was near and now it won't let me pick it.0 -

Think it goes on Ozzie time, rather thank UK time. I like to think of it as GAPtime0
