Forgot to say, join GRG too (see first post), I love them, just can't get much work with them!

Yeah, forgot that I'd signed up with them this morning too!

So, signed up with RE on Monday, got my login etc, but no jobs have been available so far.

Applied for TNS, filled in the lengthy questionnaire thingy, waiting.

Signed up for GFK - waiting

Signed up for Grass Roots - waiting.

Congrats :) For the new shopper or even experience shoppers those four would be my top list. I can't really recommend any others as I've either done just done a few shops or no jobs with them.

I think some elite MSers get some really good places to accept them (not allowed to mention the name) who are apparently loads better than even these folks.

Don't forget your self-employed HMRC forms!

Thanks for the useful info, I have been accepted for those 4. I also get quite a lot for retail Maxim but don't really hear them mentioned much on here.

Signed up with Mystery Shoppers Ltd last week and have done one visit for them. (seemed ok pay)

Think I may do the ones I have tomorrow for gap (3 of them) and then see how they go.

Good luck, just take your time and don't give them any excuses!

Yep Retail Maxim is a good one but I've never received any work from them either and Mystery Shoppers have put me in the void that is "Pending application" for about 6 weeks now! Must Remember to chase them up!

I'm in a very chatty mood this evening - most probably because I've got three visit to fill report for :D - but I can't believe that as a guy, that travel agent visit this afternoon has made me broody!

I had to fake it and say I had wife and kids and she was so lovely customising everything to how it would be nice to take them on their first holiday, how you can put them to bed and you can relax in your apartment... made it sound so desirable!

Must add that to my diary too.

has anyone done a visit for ISC. They need me to write a personal report before answering their questions. Need some advise please. Are they as strict as Bare has become lately??

Keep a note of the jobs you do and when payment is due. I've only done a few jobs for them but had to chase payment each time.

I'm still registered with Gap but barely do anything for them. I never get work available emails and by the time I see posts on here saying there are jobs on, someone has already nabbed the ones in my area.

I would use them as fillers - when you're going to be in an area for someone else and it's not going to take you out of your way to do it. I wouldn't go on a special trip just to do a Gap job though. By the time you add up the travel time, time to do the job and the report, plus your travel costs, it's just not worth it.

Don't mention broody! I'm seriously broody at the moment :o
Here I go again on my own....
  • thanks becles. so would that mean they are not horribky fussy with the report?

I didn't have to fake it, went for the scenario with the 2 kids, I will lend you them and that will soon put you off:D

I've not had any sent back for queries, but I do check spelling etc., before I send them.
