I've just done a fast food job for GAP. The time on the receipt is 25 minutes before I got served! So, thinking I should do the right thing, I entered the actual times I entered and left, but also had to enter the time on the receipt. Naturally, it has come up as an error and the only thing I could do was change my entry/exit times. Surely that's not right?

I had this a couple of weeks ago too in a fast food place. I had to alter my own times to fit the receipt, but I added an explaination in the comments box at the end. I haven't heard anything - do GAP contact you with queries or do they just not pay?? I haven't had any missed payments - yet lol.

Same happened to me re burger times altered the time to get questionnaire to submit but put comment to explain also had to say they were not responsible for the toilets as it would not let me submit any other answer and again had to explain in the comments. Previously had a problem with the interaction with customer questions it seems there is always a problem with some part of the form just makes the jobs even more of a pain but they will pay as this was their advice when I explained the situation find a way for the form to submit and then make corrections in the comments. Mad or what?

Does anyone have a problem with inconsistent marking of BARE reports, or just me? I am doing my best and try to score 10/10, and sometimes I do. Sometimes I get 9 or occasionally 8 and am unable (so far) to find out why.

Now I have just received an email from them asking me to number my comments in the additional comments section. I have NEVER been asked to do this before and have scored 10/10 so it must have been ok then. I know this sounds petty but I try really hard and feel like they are moving the goalposts.

My last one took 3 or 4 weeks to arrive. Still struggle to believe they send cash in the post though!

It is a strange way to pay, but I'm not complaining and 3-4 weeks sounds very reasonable compared to some companies I deal with!

I wouldn't stress your self too much over the numbers game.
So long as you get at least 8's and are reliable then you should get more jobs.
I know (like me) that you strive for perfection


I honestly think they (along with RE) do not bother with the numbers.

When I was doing the flights last year supposedly your score had to be '8' Fair enough, must be reliable and accurate etc.
Then later on the minimum reuqired score went down to '5' which is the score a newbie gets.
No sense!
