Abbey are currently offering a Branch/Telephone based Instant saver offering 6.3 % for a year - so you can always Queue at the Branch if Santander get into trouble.... but What's Up with ICICI ?

I've just gone for Tesco, already had the previous savings package from them which had a 6 month bonus period. Spoke to them first and they were very helpful, said I have to apply for the new internet saver account online and there's no problem in moving savings from the old account into it.

I clicked on the savings link but can only find a rate of 5.00% and that is with £50000 in it!

If you mean the Tesco 6.5% offering (as your included quote suggests), try HERE
