The giant Spanish bank Santander has recently bought both Abbey and Alliance & Leicester and the savings business of Bradford & Bingley.
This is from the note at the top of the Board. Is this correct? I thought Santander bought abbey in 2004.

2004 is recent i suppose.
I have stuff in my fridge older than 2004.

You are right, it was 2004. I assume he wrote that for simplicity as the other two were more recent.0
