Unable to access website. What's blocking it?

From all you've described so far I'm inclined to think it's an ISP error. I had a similar problem a couple of months ago with O2 broadband, Google and Yahoo pages would not open at all yet all other sites opened fine - people posted on this forum about it. It turned out that O2 had !!!!!!ed up something at their end but it was fixed within 2 or 3 hours.

The only other thing I can think of is if confused.com has somehow found its way into your Hosts file? Maybe check that in C:windows\system 32\drivers\etc folder.

Hi!

Don't know if this is useful but Pipex have issues meaning that no emails are being sent. Been down since Friday - can't get any sense out of help line. I'm on another forum and loads of people are complaining about the problem.

Checked the Hosts file - empty apart from localhost.

Suewoo - phone pipex this afternoon, and they assured me that they weren't blocking.

This is a really stupid problem!

Can you try another pc out on the same connection to test to see if it IS your pc?

***scratch that, just realised you already have***

Which means its either the ISP, the SAME software on both computers or the modem
