Hi, i was wondering if anyone can help me.
I have just purchased a PVR freeview and need to connect it all to my tv with my Sky and dvd player and maybe the Video recorder, (Video recorder is not essential, i can leave that out if it helps).
I have 2 scart sockets in TV, i have got a few scart leads, but don't know what needs to be attached to what.
I would also like to know if i can record from Sky onto my PVR freeview box.
Idiots guide would be appreciated lol.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You can get a scart adapter with several scart inputs and one output that goes into your TV, allowing you to have several scart devices connected into one socket. As for recording sky on the PVR, it depends on weather the box has an AV input, however I would think it unlikely as it has a freeview receiver built in.0

Thanks for the quick responce, and sorry to sound daft but where do i plug my aerial, into the tv and then it attches with the scart lead or plug it straight into Freeview box. At the moment the aerial is plugged into the tv (i think).
Thanks again0 -
Your freeview PVR is now you TV tuner, so you plug the aerial into the freeview box. Then connect the box to the TV via scart0

Thank you very much, i'll have a go now.0

Plug the aerial into the freeview box (in) then another between the freeview box and the tv.
You could really do with a new tv, but for now you need (as described above) a 'switch box', else picture quality will have to suffer somewhere (although going through a 'switch box' will deteriorate the signal anyways!)
You want with with FULL RGB compatability ~

Plug the freeview box, sky and dvd player through it into scart 1
The video into scart 2
Plug the skys scart OUT (2) into the freeview boxes scart 2 (If it has one) to record sky:idea:0 -
Not wishing to but in but most Freeview PVRs (Humax 9200 etc) cannot record from an external source. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

This site has been posted before and I found it handy for advising how to connect TV/Sky etc.
Hope this helps!

Intriguing. It connected the dvd player to scart 2 in my scenario, which would be wrong as they normally dont have RGB enabled (Meaning it would be a fuzzy picture ~ composite video only):idea:0
