In settings and typing mode is it definitely selected to "click to select"?
Also a few more details, what operating system are you using, is this a laptop or desktop, what keyboard do you have plugged in (and any keyboard software)?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I'm not sure it'd make any difference but try downloading and installing the latest Logitech Setpoint. Only thing I can think of is your current keyboard drivers/software are interferring or something. At home I have XP and a logitech keyboard and my OSK works fine.

any particular reason why you use the osk?
Yes, I read in a computer mag it was safer, I'm not techie minded, so never know what's best.
I seldom use CC details online, further down the site on the Grabbit board, there is an offer which I want to take up, but I need to use my CC.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

When I click on the OSK, it says "Set focus to the application window into which you want to type"
What ever that means!!Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

the mag was wrong, a randomised on screen keyboard provided by a bank login screen would be safer, but osk just simulates a keypress, so any software keylogger would pick it up.
I don't think it a banks site I was going to use, it's a subscription for BBC radio times on the grabbit board.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
