Recommend a cheap book for a 7 year old about 'that'

My DD is 7 (and a half!) and I have a feeling she's going through the beginnings of puberty. I suspect she's going to be around 9 years old when she has her first period (possibly sooner but I really hope not).
Anyway, there are loads of books out there but I need a suitable one for her age (she's a fairly advanced reader so something for an 8 or 9 year old would probably be fine) about body changes and puberty. I don't particularly want to start delving into sex and masturbation just yet as I don't feel it's appropriate - I know quite a few 'puberty' books also go into sex etc.
I'm perfectly happy to sit with her and go through all of this, but I think a book would act as a good aid for both of us, she can read through it on her own as many times as she likes and it saves me talking at her. Plus, it was 20 years ago since I went through puberty!
Any suggestions greatly appreciated, especially if you have such a book and it's been a big help!

Look in the local library, have a look yourself without her to pick out a suitable book.I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0

Just a thought - and please don't take this as a criticism as you know your daughter best - but when talking to her about this, its an ideal time to introduce sex and where babies come from. It put the whole of puberty into context.
It will be much easier to explain it to her now when she's young enough to just want the basic details, than when she's a bit older and beginning to feel self conscious about her body.0 -
Don't get me wrong, I do want her to learn the basics about sex and where babies come from, but there are many books supposedly aimed at 9-12 year olds which contain all sorts of information about 'sexy feelings', about how masturbation is normal, about contraception and STIs.
Much as I absolutely want her to learn about this stuff, I just don't want her to just yet. It's also a case of fine tuning the information she needs now, then what she needs in 2-3 years time. I don't want to overload the poor kid!
Thanks though Sharra, you do make a valid point.0
