Hi All
Just moved to A+l for their good regular saver
All the mail has started to arrive and ive been enrolled with their mbna card ?
even though I said I did not want it
its arrived today £2500 limit 0% 9 months 2.5% fee
I did not ask for this card but since its here if I put it in there web saver at 5.15% will I make money from it over the 9 months
Or could I get compensation for been given credit I didn't ask for ?

You'll be charged a 2 percent handling fee, I'm afraid. This is capped at £50, but that is all you can transfer with your credit limit I'm afraid. If you have other credit cards issued by MBNA you can easily 'switch' the available credit onto this card - which will allow you to transfer £2500+ in one go [important, because multiple transfers attract multiple fees!]. That would be more advantageous for you.
Assuming you can't raise your credit limit above that given, however, you will make a small profit of the order of £25 over and above the £50 fee. [Is that worth doing for you, I wonder?] For every £800 you could raise your limit by and then do a balance transfer this would raise your net profit by £25 I estimate. So you could make £100 if you could transfer £5000 in one go.
HTH.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
