baby items?

is it actually worth putting my baby items on ebay?

Mostly clothes, a few toys, a baby walker and a 3-in-1 pram?

Seen a fair few decent things go for pennies!

Ebay/Car Boot / ad-mag?

never actually sold anything on ebay but brought a fair few items

Thanks

I struggled to get rid of baby clothes on ebay and in the end car booted them. Equipment always does well though although you might be better trying the small ads in the local paper first at they are usually free.
TRYING hard to be a good money saver

I think you get better prices on ebay for some things than admag for instance.

I agree with clothing take good photos, maybe put them in a bundle but show them well in the picture ( i hate to see bundles when theyre all bunched up and you cant tell what youre buying). also, list if you dont smoke/pet etc as someone has said.

all my sons old equipment went really well, but all had to be local pickup. i priced at 50% of the cost new and was well happy with the results.
For cloths I made up boxes of upto 50 items, by age and winter or summer, again got some good prices but had to be local pickup, postage was too much. As some has already said try local paper or even a local free site first as ebay are getting far too greedy these days.

Local NCT , we offloaded a pile of stuff, got reasonable money (baby clothes are almost free when new!) and helped raise money for them (they get a cut).

Left with warm and fuzzy feeling.

Or you could list on ebay, get bummed by paypal, have arguments with nutters, have things lost in the post..........................................

You could try your local netmums board. They have a sales and wants section and you can list for free. You just need to join your local areas board. Thats free too.
Just google netmums and you'll find it.

I'm led to believe that baby items have always gone for low prices - after all they can be bought so cheap from places like Asda and people are very paranoid when it comes to anything that could be considered 'dirty' and their babies.

However, thanks to the so called 'credit cruch' you could be in luck! Apparently as no ones going out in the evenings anymore, more couples are spending time 'cuddling up' so in about 9 months there shoud be a glut of skint parents trailing ebay for baby bargains!
