Hello Bridie:j I didn't even know you'd had a little girl- congratulations:beer: I remember a post saying you were pregnant some time ago, but hadn't realised how long. How old will she be when you visit?

    any.

Hi Spendless, yes, I had a little girl, Katie, she is 16 months old now, will be 23 months when we visit....!!! Sorry, I thought I had been on and let everyone know when she was born (probably forgot with "baby brain"!) :o

Thanks for all the suggestions, hadnt thought of quite a few of them so I'll have a think. Parents dont have any friends with kids/grandkids DDs age unfortunately but I'll ask them to keep an eye out at charity shops and stuff and maybe try the ebay /freecycle thing a bit nearer the time if they've not found anything.

Thanks also for the very kind offers of loaned items - unfortuantely we'll be in Kent so a bit far, but lovely of you to offer

I just pop in now and then.... :)

Hi you could also try this.
    http://kent.gumtree.com/

They are all over the country and we use the aberdeen one to buy and sell. Might be worth a try and you could always start looking now if ur folks have room to store the stuff!!

    Enjoy your visit.

Try Ebay!!- there's always a bargain on there! Or get someone over here to get you something from www.Kiddicare.com so it's all here for when you arrive.
