I'm glad to hear Drive the Deal are still in business. We bought our VW Touran off them 1.9D almost 4 years ago for 12.5k, almost 4k off the list price at the time. It really was a good deal and the car has not lost a great deal of value and for the first 2 years we couldn't find any second had Tourans which cost less than our brand new one! The whole transaction took 2 weeks from initial contact to receiving our car which had been imported from south east England to Aberdeen and which came back down south a few few later. I hope they are still in business in 10 years time when we come to change our car again.

The most important question though Andy is

"will it keep up with a 6 in the twisties"

That extra money off makes it even more tempting!

Just make sure its whether or not you want the car that you're pondering rather than whether or not to use DTD!

In short, probably not!

Over a few miles mine will probably overtake it as its either;

a, in the ditch through LOOS
b, waiting for the AA
