Hi i moved in to a new house two weeks ago, but forgot to take a reading fr the gas, with one thing and another i have only just taken a reading.
I want to set up my new accoutn with them but not sure what the readin would have been two weeks ago, is there any way i can estimate how much i would have used in two weeks?
It is a 3 bed house, gas been on probably 3-4 hours a day for heating and water, and the reading now is 8374.66.
Any ideas?
thanks xx

Take readings at the same time for the next few days to give you an average daily usage, then back date the original reading. Job done

Chances are the old occupants would have submitted final readings when they left. Therefore, providing they're honest then your supplier will already have your strart reading.0

thanksf or the replies, i think i will take the readings for the next couple of days and then call them up and hopefully the previous occupants will have been honest!! Not holding out much hope though seeing as they left their BT line on!!0
