I worry that all the cutting back on electricity and gas will be for nothing too, andan. I haven't heard from my suppliers and have no idea how much things are going to cost. I'm virtually cooking on a candle whilst do a great impression of the michelin man in numerous layers.... I should contact them, but don't want the depressed feeling.
Still have the scar of a headache, it's gone but still there and is making me sluggish and tired, so my sparkles are a little dimmer today. Hoping for full power tomorrow though!
I found my missing library book!! It was on the stairs, I've only walked past it about 60 times
no need for those specs I've just paid out for then - ahem
I now have to take it back for a refund and to have the librarian think I may be a little dim (and she'll be right!)
Fay, that list is a little long you know, poor andan, she doesn't understand list envy yet....:D
Here is my scanty list
post 6 ebay items
post 1 amazon item
sort out spreadsheet
make a payment a day - failed to do so over the weekend
bought in the usual breakfast and lunch - but have just bought a bar of chocolate - oops:o
post 3 items on ebay
I'll pop back later for the gossip....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Piquant, here is a great site that you can input your gas and electricity meter readings into each week, it gives you a rough calclulation of how much you are spending each week and lets you compare it to the national average.

Thank you andan
Have a horrible feeling I will now be running between the meter and the light switch, every single time I switch on a light, in a newly acquired obsessive fashion

Hi all, what a day for me! Spending day..bad one sort of. I dropped the car off for its service and it ended up costing me £320 as there was an electrical fault which needed repairing! But ive earnt half of it in overtime and have another 2 overtime shifts by end of year to pay for it.
I spent 3.00 on a macdonalds brekie, 2.00 in tesco for shopping for mum, 2.60 on tipex I needed and a new diary for uni as the old one was mess with old shifts in it. A nice new one for a nice new start. Ive just finished filling it all in.
But on a positive note I used my m and s voucher and got 2 nice new vest tops. Lovely they are! Tomo im off to a counselling session and the library then home to study so shouldn’t spend too much I hope! Maybe a treat in town for a few pennies. I still have 1/2 tank petrol in car too which will do me the month I hope. So I am in positive steps everyone, thanks for support as always. The car people also cleaned the car out and in for me for free which was a bonus!Nice and clean!
Sophiesmum, good on not using the car, petrol really is exp at the moment, I have a travelcard right now much cheaper to get around town!
Princess loki – you did make me laugh with the fire incidents! Poor kitty kat!
Welcome Kmac_Edin…the board keeps us going and well done on your ideas so far. Having own lunch is a big saver, I have soups and instant pasta’s at work which are cheap and easy!
Hey Andan, busy day for you with uni, me too this eve, got a few articles to get through, doubt I will but try. Im thinkingof getting healthy and fit, but gym is expensive so I am going to try walk to the railstn when I am on particular shifts as much as poss to get exersize for free! Its 30 min walk there.
Piquant sorry to hear you were poorly, I get them and they are stinkers. I end up craving choc and fizzy drinks. Happens lots as I work at a comp for 12 hours a day I think! Hope you feel better…sparkly starts we should all send you!
MrsAudus2b…well done on paying off the loan!!! Brilliant! I am at the moment trying to save to pay off my student loan…so hard!! But a third of the way there!
Well i should get to my uni work, feeling happy though today, well done everyone as always
