ooooooooooh, jinky - your new avvy made me quickly scroll back up!! :rotfl: Unfortunately I don't have any bread so I can't do toast, but I've just made a cottage pie and I'm really looking forward to that later :)

Hope hubby gets the news he wants Lou, I know how worrying it can be when a job is lost. Yes, this morning was bloody hard work if I'm honest.

Daphne - now you're going to get us all excited by your mysterious 'nothing to see' post!

ooh, i've just checked my pigsback account and they've credited my 1000 points for using hotel club (when I booked the hotel for the leeds meet). That means I have enough for a £10 gift voucher. I've cashed it in for a M+S one and it will go nicely with the £5 one I got from Direct Line for getting a quote........and the £5 one that went to my old address (I 'fiddled' the offer and got a quote for my old address as well) - my ex said he would never use it so he gave it to me - so that's £20 to spend in M+S for free!

    Gemmzie,

You choose between green and red days.

On a red day, you can eat lean meat, fish etc with unlimited fruit, veg and limited carbs.

On a green day, unlimited carbs, veg and fruit with a limited amount of protein.

Thanks spud, seems simple enough. Do you need a certain amount of red and green per month or week?

Gemmzie, we have mainly green days in the Spud household, our budget says so :o

We do try to have the occasional red day, but it really is very occasional ;)
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Evening all - hows things? Been to work and then took DS to his appointment with the consultant. It went really well and consultant doesnt need to see him for 12 months when he will be settled in school - he has also agreed with our school choice and is going to write his report for the statement. yeay for DS!

Gemmzie - I probably still have a SW book lying around - I sent one to Tigtag a while back but if I find one I can send it one for your mum if you want? It describes all the basics and is a good reference point. x x
