Just moved in - switch utils now?
Hiya,
We moved into our new house a couple weeks ago and have now received the first gas/electricity bills, however I don't think they're a very good indicator of how much we are likely to use as we were barely here.
Would it be wise to switch to a capped rate or something now, or should we wait for the next bill so we have a better idea of our usage?
For what it's worth, we are currently with EDF for both gas and electricity.
Cheers
Pete

if you indicate what your house size is, what heating/showers etc. you have people may be able to give you ballpark figures form similar circumstances that you can use on a comparison site for the time being. Certainly not worth waiting if you are on an expensive, tariff. I'm still working mine out after 2 years due to maternity leave and that changing the profile so I just always go on cheapest at time where possible0

Well it's 3 bedroom, central heating, gas hob, electric oven, but we're pretty energy concious (just spent £135 replacing all the halogens with low energy LED lightbulbs!).0
