I had a power cut today, which after 20 minutes of thinking "oh its just a power cut" realised both houses next door were ok
but I called EDF (unfortunately on a 0800 number from my mobile as house phone is plug in jobbie) and they sent someone out within an hour.
They then had to get someone else out, who had to get someone else to come and dig a MASSIVE hole outside, but still I had electricity back after a mains cable power failure within 8 hours. Fair play to them I was quite impressed for a sunday
.
British gas have made me wait 4 days with no hot water despite paying £20 per month for homecare.
