Lost channels help

I have had freesat with sky for a few years,i now cannot get channel 4,5 or sky3,anyone else having this prob, also bbc1 is now bbc1London,bbc2 is now bbc2 England and itv is now itvcentral w.Any ideas folks.Thanx

    That is almost certainly a problem with your card/card reader.

    Try removing your card, giving it a clean with a piece of kitchen roll on the gold plated contacts and see if that restores things.

    Wasn't there an issue recently concerning some older boxes still being sold that couldn't access all channels because they had been moved around? The channels, that is...I remember reading on here about it, so a search might turn up something. I just mention this because if you have an older box, perhaps it is also affected. Sorry I can't be more specific.

    You're getting confused with Freeview, there have been problems with some Freeview boxes in the run up to digital switch-over.
    Also it's not always the older boxes.

    Good thinking, it is 99.9% certain that it is a card/card reader fault.
