Do I need to do a conversion for electric units used too?
No electricity meters record kwh and that's what you're charged for. Just the normal thing of including standing charge or different rate for first x units.0 -
right my meter readings if sum1 can help are as follows
from 7th june GAs 1625 and elec 46926
and the meter read on 10th oct gas 1800 and elec 47504 im on scottish powers price fix online NSC
is that too low ? or too high ??
thanks0 -
OK, assuming no estimated, for four summer months that's:
580 kwh electricity, average 5 a day - sounds good to me!
175 units gas = approx 1925 if a metric meter or 5775 if imperial. Daily average = 16kwh if metric or 47kwh if imperial.
To compare, we a family of six in a 3 bed house were averaging 13 kwh elec and 26 kwh gas per day.0 -
Thanks

www.i-measure.org is a website run by a university dept, It will help you keep track of weekly usage/spend/carbon emmissions.
Interesting looking site. Do you use it? Is it reliable? Worth signing up to? Have I asked enough questions?0
