Help with British Gas
Just vwondering if anyone can help we have just moved from british gas and have got our final bill the electricty one was fine but the gas one said we were in debt by 231 two weeks ago we got a bill from them on 17th sept as they read our meters on 15th to say we are in debt by 120 as we pay monthly then this week we got our final bill stating that from 16th sept to 21st sept we have used £106 pounds worth of gas 2851 killowatt hours used over 6 days i dont understand how that is possible as that is the amount we normally use over 50 days according to previous gas bills and at that time i was at home and now work full time so am not even at home during the week what can we say whenb we phone them i just dont understand how so much gas can be used in one week

Have you checked the meter reading used on the final bill. Does it match the meter and the opening reading for your new supplier? If not call your new supplier to tell them what the correct opening read should be.0
