Economy 10 electricity

Does anyone know if there is a definitive, up-to-date list of which electricity suppliers offer Economy 10 tarrifs? We are currently on Economy 10 with Eon, who have recently announced large price rises. The usual energy comparisons only deal with single-meter and Economy 7 (two-band meters), not our three-band jobbie, and I do not particularly want to leave Economy 10 as we will presumably not get as much cheap rate storage heating.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Not heard of a up to date list for this, would you be able to input your tariff on to comparison site eg uswitch.
That way it should list suppliers that have economy 10?

  • Is it 'just' economy 10 with Eon or is it tied in with a heatwise tariff? This makes it even more challenging to consider switching.

Just economy 10 as far as I know - nothing on the bills to suggest heatwise. Not that I even know what that is! We are in a fairly new flat, with no gas, and storage heaters and immersion heater on the stored heat circuit.

I believe EDF offer E10 in all areas and I think Npower do as well.

Its not a very common tariff so not a huge amount of information about. If your on Heatwise although its E10 with just another name I don't think any other supplier will touch it. So E.on is your only hope with that.

I am with EON on the Heatwise tariff.. It is impossible to get any sense out of them but the recent 16% announced increase is actually about 27% and the previous 9.7% announced was actually 17%. I cannot find a way of changing supplier and would appreciate any ideas. No comparison website deals with either economy 10 or heatwise.
  • Change from Heatwise? Eon will probably charge you £50 for a meter exchange but it then opens up other options.
  • I'm would appear to have the same problem.

I have recently moved into a newish flat in Nottingham which does not have gas.

I'm on E-On's Heatwise tarriff. It seems astronomically expensive.

    Day
First 900 KWH per year 34.15p
    After this 13.48p
    Night 4.92p
    Heatwise boost 14.26p
    Heatwise afternoon 6.35p
    Heatwise ecening 6.35p

And to cap it all a standing charge of 10.02p per day.

They really are taking the micky aren't they. I'd love to leave but cannot find anywhere to take me.

I suspect that they have made it as unfathomable as possible so as to make it impossible to change.

    Please someone help.
