CELEBRATIONS WARNING at WOOLWORTHS

Large signs in woolworths stating big tins of CELEBRATIONS £6.66 placed STRATEGICALLY directly under large 3 for price of 2 signs .....  GOOD DEAL YOU WOULD THINK !!

HOWEVER ..... rather smaller writting underneath states you can only have 3 for 2 price if paying £9.98 for EACH tin .................. VERY NAUGHTY me thinks if your in a hurry or dont have very good eyesight for their small print

Yup - I got caught out by this one. Doing the usual - running around like a headless chicken, trying to get everything done before the school pick up - bought loads of other stuff and 3 tins of chocs. Only when happened to look at receipt a while later, I noticed I'd paid just short of £20 for them!! Will deffo be looking more closely next time!!!

Not a happy TM - although I have enjoyed eating the chocs and it's not Xmas yet..... ;D
  • I woudl report that one to trading standards

forget about the small print on sign

i noticed this the other day while out shopping too, its not fair on those with not good eyesight, and i expect they were thinking that due to most people rushing around with there heads full of stuff they had to do, not many people would notice eitherm, a good way to rip people off in my opinion >:( ??? :o

Isn't it classed at misleading price indications? T&S should check up on this
