    Personally I would avoid plastic wherever possible. It's ugly, the fittings are very bulky and it needs more support than copper.

    If you really, really want to use it then I would go for Hep2O pipe and fittings. Much better than JG as there is a very positive fitting action but note that the fittings are not easily demountable as the JG ones are. Do not forget that all plastic pipe-work require support sleeves / inserts.

    At the very least, try to avoid the use of plastic wherever it can be seen - nothing looks more amateurish and screams DIY.

    I'd agree that it would look better to use copper where ever it is visible. Checkout screwfix, they do all the pushfit cheaper than wickes. Insulate your pipes in the loft too - no point heating fresh air!

    Andy- steer well clear of any do it yourself stores own makes, I know lots of people that have had them leak.

    Hep20 are the best if you intend using plastic.
