help help me i could scream!! downloading epson driver!!

hi all,

can someone please help me i am on 6 of downloading a driver for the new printer i was given it came with no software!!

i have a pc on windows xp and i am desperate to set up the printer as i have letters to print today!!

i have tried the epson website and it isn;t working for me!

the printer is an epson sylus photo R300

any ideas would be great i am not very good with downloading and software stuff!!

This self-extracting file contains the Epson Stylus Photo R300 Printer Driver for Windows 2000 (Printer Driver v5.5bAs, Core Driver Disk v5.51). The Epson Status Monitor 3, with improved ink monitoring, is incorporated into this driver. This file self-extracts to your hard drive and is placed in c:\EPSON\epson11315.

Note: Before installing this driver, please remove prior versions of this driver via Windows Add/Remove Programs.

oh my word it is a working i have followed that from the epson site at least 4 times and i couldn't do it!

it is working now thats cuddles in the buff. printer set up and i have printered something too.
