Post Office Growth Bond - please help

Please help! How I can contact the Post Office about my growth bond (money paid to local Post Office on 31 July, but still not properly set up) Do you know a phone number which they will answer or an email address?
The only number I have is 0845 602 3407, and it is impossible to get through to anyone. On 1 Oct managed this, after at least 6 hours trying, and they promised to deal with my account as a priority and send welcome pack etc. Still not received much from them. Have spent since 10:00 today trying to ring them...needless to say no luck so far!
Completely fed up with them, would love to withdraw my money, but will lose interest and of course how can I contact them...
Thanks for reading my rant.

Does this help?
While the delay is unacceptable, why do you want to withdraw the money? Good rate of interest, and the web page tells you that you won't lose any interest because of the delay.
This sort of thing has also happened this year to others such as Nationwide and Barclays when they make attractive offers. At least you didn't go for Icesave

You can call PO/BoI regarding your Growth Bond on 0800 1697500. Waiting time until connection for me has generally been about 10-15 mins but at least it's freephone.0
