So "accelerated" gives hope for faster than normal payouts0 -
The 3-month target used by the FSA for paying compensation (as per post No 6 by Noh above) is a rule laid down for "European Economic Area" countries which includes Iceland. The problem is - it applies to the UK and Iceland separately, the FSA is only obliged to pay its share of the compensation within the 3 months. However, since the FSCS will be paying the entire amount, I would think it will all come as one payment."How could I have been so mistaken as to trust the experts" - John F Kennedy 19620
