I've been thinking the same about a big Premium Bond win - where would you put it?

It would be just my luck that I win now then I'd bank the cheque and the following day it would be that bank that went under.
  • I believe with a big lottery win, you could open an account with Coutts. There's no way they'll go bust.

    Well, that's a relief....I feel much better now :D

Seriously, how are you so sure they won't they go bust? Apart from the fact their clients are 'exclusive' - that doesn't mean they haven't followed the other banks in doing the same sort of 'creative' investing - especially if it looked like a good idea at the time....nothing appears to be impossible anymore
  • you could probably buy a bank of your choice, sooN!
