If you are going bankrupt then the Littlewoods debt is of no relevance to them. If you are discussing bankruptcy with them then you don't even have to mention it.

You could always ring National Debtline and have a chat.

I can hope but is extremely unlikely things gonna change. will the cccs still be willing to help tho given that they know nothing about the littlewoods debt but have been paying other creditors for me?

Yes of course CCCS will be willing to help you out. They are very good and non judgemental. They will guide you through all the pro's and con's of bankruptcy. Don't panic.

thank you everyone. I called them and they said they will send me some info out about it and then I can call them back. The only problem I got now is my sister and her fiance are coming for a visit in the next week and I will probably get a whacking great big envelope through the door marked cccs. I haven't told anyone in my family been having difficulties except my husband so am definitely not mentioning this. :o

Thank you all for your advice. :T :A

From memory all the stuff I got from cccs came in a plain brown envelope...so nobody's any the wiser

if it does have cccs marked anywhere just shrug your shoulders & tell em "bloomin junk mail!"

  • We've just got an A4 sized envolope through the post this morning with no adverse markings on it whatsoever. It was from Payplan, very discreet.
