Going Bankrupt

Options
I have just over £8k of unsecured credit, I have an interest only mortgage which is probably at or very near to negative equity. which has just come to the end of a fixed two year deal. I am unable to remortgage.

I have recently lost a reasonably well paid job and am working as a self employed taxi driver.

I now find that I am struggling to earn enough money to simply pay my mortgage and other associated costs let alone pay my food bills and credit commitments.

Up to now I have kept my credit commitments upto date but that is only coz my girlfriend has been paying my bills, I have looked around and am not clear if i would be able to file for BKO.
