02 emails in Windows Live Mail

We have just signed up with 02 broadband and start on 20th October.
I have been given an 02 email address and wondered whether it is possible to set up in Live Mail.

Have checked at 02 website and can find information on most things relating to emails but not the information I wanted!

Any help would be appreciated, thank you

If they support standard POP3, you should be able to. If you can find instructions for Outlook or Outlook Express, adapt those as required. The ones for Outlook are nearer to Windows Live Mail than Outlook Express.

Thanks again Conor. Just had another go at setting up 02 - followed instructions for Outlook. The settings accept o2 rather than 02, which is confusing.

Wasn't sure whether I would be able to use in Live Mail but two emails have now downloaded.

because it's the capital letter "o" and you've been putting in the number zero.

Easily done.
