I see they give the AER rate of 7% but the gross rates are, of course, a little lower.0

i tried to open this but told me i cant think you need a variable rate Halifax Web Saver account first whats that because i thought i would just be able to transfer from my Halifax Current Account or my bank of scotland instant access savings accountCan't sleep, quit counting sheep and talk directly to the shepherd :cool:0

I have money stuck in KE which im now waiting for to be returned , if i open this halifax Fixed rate can i open it with £500 then add more money a week later , or once you add money is that it , its tied for 6 months .e.g u cant add or take away?

Thats right you cannot add to or withdraw from the account once it has been opened. So it's actually a bond as opposed to a savings account which they seem to market it as..0
