Hi Mse's ,
I know this sounds weird but when i am runningmalwarebytes and do a scan it sounds like a scratching coming from my laptop!!
Then if i pause it , the sound goes then if i start it back up the sound comes back???
Can you tell me if this is normal and if this is damaging my computer?

probably just hard disk activity, nothing to worry about....
...or mice...

This is definately your hard drive just working, some programs allow you to change the scanning level as some scans are very deep and intense which can cause your hard drive and CPU etc to work overtime. Just make sure it not happening to frequent as if it is then the hard drive could be starting to fail or to much stuff for your hard drive to cope with.
Try defragging, cleaning junk files etc as this will help alot.0 -
As stated this is Hard drive activity, however prolonged and intensive read and writes on the HD can damage it.
This should not be an issue with a mere malware scan though! Solid state drives are really the future, no worrys then!It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.0 -
You're sure it isn't a mouse...????0
